Calling all cyclists to join BikeFest!

On Saturday 3 September, we are once again cycling from SFL in Reading to a destination in London to raise funds for our industry peers in need, and to kick off the PLASA Show London 2022.

We invite you to cycle alongside us for a bike ride that will be equally demanding and fulfilling. Cycling alongside industry colleagues, it will be a great day out!

Up for the challenge? Choose one of two routes:

1. BikeFest40: Starting at 11am, this route is a relaxed 40-mile ride direct to London via flat roads and cycle paths. Ideal for mountain/hybrid/gravel bikes, with the opportunity to chat and pedal with fellow colleagues.

2. BikeFest80: Starting earlier, this route is a more strenuous 80-mile ride traversing the Surrey Hills. Suitable for road bikes only. Are you a racing snake? This route offers great camaraderie, plus a support van for those all-important breaks!

If you can’t commit to the full ride, London-based cyclists are also invited to join for the last leg of the journey on the BikeFestLondon route through the capital, starting sometime after 4pm from the café at Roehampton Gate in Richmond Park.

How to sign up for BikeFest

Book your place for BikeFest via our Raisley donation page. For those joining routes 1 or 2, we ask for a donation of at least £50. For those joining from London, we ask for £30.

In the message box please specify which route you want to join, eg: BikeFest40, BikeFest80 or BikeFestLondon.

Places are limited, so be sure to book your place as soon as you can to avoid missing out!

All money raised will go to Backup, the technical entertainment charity.

Backup will then channel the funds to Acting For Others, #MakeItBlue, Music Support and Stagehand.
